Professional Background

Jarrad Roeder is a Partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Consulting practice and the firm’s Global Lead for Digital Leadership. He works with senior executives and leadership teams to navigate the human dimensions of change—spanning AI and digital transformation, leadership succession, culture, and strategic organization design—all to accelerate human performance.

Jarrad partners with senior leaders to translate strategic ambition into accelerated performance by addressing the people, organizational, and cultural dimensions of transformation. He leads engagements that align talent priorities to business goals, future-proof organizational models, and evolve company cultures to thrive through disruption.

As a founding member of Heidrick & Struggles’ Digital and Innovation Center of Excellence, Jarrad focuses on the integration of humans and technology. His work reinforces that AI outcomes depend less on tools than on leadership alignment, psychological safety, and organizational readiness. He authored Heidrick’s point of view on leveraging culture to accelerate GenAI enablement and is a leader within the firm’s internal efforts to transform the business with AI.

A core part of Jarrad’s role is supporting boards and senior executives on high-stakes leadership decisions. As a seasoned assessor, he orchestrates rigorous, objective and data-driven assessment approaches for highly sensitive succession processes.

In conjunction with his client work, Jarrad teaches executive-level programs on strategic planning, innovation, orchestrating ecosystems, digital dexterity, and change leadership, and has facilitated executive development programs at the University of Pennsylvania’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education. Earlier in his career, he advised on strategy and transformation at Decision Strategies International (DSI), acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2016, and holds a dual B.S./B.A. from the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania.
